These terms govern your use of familiesoutloudevents.com and your attendance at Families Out Loud events. By using the site or attending an event, you agree to them.
Event tickets are one flat price — $40 for the full weekend — and each attendee needs their own ticket. Tickets are transferable, and refundable up to 30 days before the event. Ticket sales are processed by Eventbrite, whose terms also apply to the purchase. If we must cancel or materially reschedule an event, we'll offer a refund or transfer to another city.
Families Out Loud is educational and community-focused. Speakers and sponsors share expertise and lived experience, but nothing at our events or on this site is a substitute for personalized medical, legal, or financial advice from your own providers. Decisions about your family-building journey belong to you and your care team.
Our events bring together people at vulnerable points in a deeply personal journey. We require respect for every family and every route to parenthood. Harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior may result in removal from an event without a refund. Be kind; ask before assuming.
We photograph and film portions of our events for recap and outreach purposes. By attending, you consent to appearing incidentally in event photography. If you'd prefer not to appear in published materials, tell us at check-in or email us and we'll accommodate you.
Sponsors are vetted against ASRM and SEEDS ethics standards, but they are independent organizations. Your engagements with any provider — including attendee discounts they offer — are between you and them. Links to third-party sites are provided for convenience; their terms and privacy policies apply there.
The content, design, and marks on this site belong to Families Out Loud or are used with permission. You're welcome to share links to our pages; please don't republish substantial portions of the site without asking us first.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Families Out Loud's liability in connection with the site or an event is limited to the amount you paid us (for most attendees, the price of a ticket). We're not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. If we update them, we'll post the new version here with a new effective date. Questions: info@familiesoutloudevents.com.
